Manage Your Work in Projects

All work in BIM Concrete Studio is organized within projects. Before using any module or tool, you first need to create a project to define the context for your work. Projects bring together your models, analyses, and outputs in one place, making it easier to manage, share, revisit, and build on your work over time. Once your project is set up, you can add modules, upload models, and begin your analysis.

Getting started ...

Setting up a Project

My Projects

To create a project, click the Create New Project button. A setup window will open where you can enter a project name and description, and select your preferred language and unit system (SI Base or Imperial). Once you have completed these fields, click Create Project. You will then be taken into your new project, where you can begin adding modules and start your work.

Project Overview Window

You will start in the Project Overview window, where you can manage and navigate all aspects of your project. On the right-hand side, the Quick Actions panel allows you to add a module by clicking Create Module, where you can select from the available options. You can also share your project by inviting collaborators via email and assigning them a role, either Editor or Administrator for full access. The same panel provides a shortcut to contact the Cemex Concrete Studio technical support team.Within the overview, you can also archive or delete the project if required.

Project Overview Tabs

The Modules tab shows all modules within the project and allows you to create new ones. In the Collaborators tab, you can view and manage project participants, as well as invite new users. The Analysis tab enables you to generate, view, and share project-wide reports, and also compare outputs from different modules, which is useful when reviewing design optimizations or material changes. Finally, the Settings tab allows you to adjust project variables; any changes must be saved before continuing.
